Barbara Stephan
Singer / Songwriter
Barbara Stephan has extensive experience as a jazz/pop vocal performer in
Milwaukee, Chicago and regional areas. Vocally, she is a master at
authenticating any style she goes after with a polished, powerful sound.
She most recently performed background vocals for blues singer Susan Tedeschi
and has been a regular performer at many of the major music festivals in
Milwaukee including Summerfest, Third Ward Jazz Festival, Rainbow Summer, Jazz
In The Park, the Park East Hotel Rooftop Jazz Series, the Brookfield Civic
Center, Sharon Lynne Wilson Center and many others.
Her new cd entitled "I'm Awake", features Barbara￢ﾀﾙs
original songs with an adult contemporary twist of all the many influences of
the group members. Along with an impressive performing schedule, Barbara also
teaches jazz/pop voice at the Waukesha County Conservatory of Music.
